Located in the bottom floor of the historic La Casa Del Camino Hotel in Laguna Beach, CA, K'ya Bistro serves globally inspired small plates in an intimate setting for hotel guests and locals alike.
In addition to typical projects like social media artwork and promotional postcards, I also designed the paper menus that the bistro uses as placemats.

Sajj Mediterranean is a popular fast-casual restaurant with multiple locations in the Bay Area.
I have made a variety of promotional materials for use at their different locations including email blasts, window decals, signage, and labels for some of the food products that they sell in store.

Located in the FLIGHT Complex in Tustin, Mess Hall Market is a new food hall that offers customers a broad selection of food and beverage options to be enjoyed in a communal cafeteria style dining space.
I have created a handful of social media and print pieces promoting the space's happy hour and community events.

The Butchery is a full-service butchery with 4 locations in Southern California.
Most of my design work for The Butchery has been print ads, but I also have created posters and labels for their pre-packaged meats.

THE HALAL GUYS
Due to its overwhelming success in NYC where patrons have been known to wait for hours to enjoy their simple, but premium quality Halal meat dishes, the brand has opened many franchise locations across the US.
I have done a handful of pieces on behalf of one of their franchise locations in Arizona including a direct mail postcard, email blast and print advertisements.

Located in the heart of Laguna Beach, Skyloft offers customers a full downstairs bar and rooftop with gorgeous sunset views.
I designed a variety of print and digital materials for Skyloft including advertisements and posters to promote their weekly specials.

Based in Santa Ana, CA, Wursthaus is a German inspired beer hall and gourmet sausage spot.

Featuring a predominantly seafood and New American menu, Coastal Kitchen is a bright and breezy restaurant located in Dana Point, CA.
Most of the materials I have created for the restaurant are print ads, but I have also made pieces that are given directly to customers or displayed in the restaurant.

hi! I'm michelle
Since 2015, I have worked as an independent creative content developer in Los Angeles, providing remote graphic design and copywriting services for a broad array of industries.
Over the years, I have completed hundreds of projects for clients ranging from indie performers to large manufacturing companies. My assignments have included posters, email blasts, packaging, social media, visual identity, brochures, infographics, and all types of writing - from cover letters, to real estate listings, to pithy event tag lines, and more! Although currently in the novice stage, I am also adding video editing and text animation to my skillset.
Historically, the "bread & butter" of my services has been restaurants via my long standing contract work with a hospitality PR firm. I handled the creative needs of dozens of the firm's clients for years until the Covid-19 pandemic devastated the hospitality industry, resulting in the closure of many restaurants - and by domino effect, the businesses designed around supporting their needs.
As the world collectively navigates a new normal, I look forward to resuming a hospitality focus and helping restaurants serve up great experiences for their customers--in whatever form that may be!
